300 People Get Hygienic Water in the Diocese of Jasidih

A new bore well was installed in a remote village in the Diocese of Jasidih on 20th March 2014. Around 300 people fetch water from this new bore well every day.

The people of this village are illiterate and lived in a very poor condition. They didn’t have any permanent source of water, which forced them to depend on the open pond in the village. The water was unclean and caused them to fall sick often.

So, by seeing their great need for a safe drinking water source, the church took an initiative to install a new bore well for them.

The head of village appreciated and thanked the church for providing them a new hygienic source of water.
