300 Families Get Pure Drinking Water in Sikkim

Believers Church Sikkim installed a water tank for a village on 24th June 2014. Around 300 people use this water tank for their daily water needs.

The villagers were facing water problems for a long time. They had to walk kilometers through the forest to fetch water, which could be life threatening. The villagers were in need of a good water facility. Seeing this condition, Believers Church took the initiative to install a water tank for the villagers.

Mr. Kumar, a villager, said, “Nobody ever took the initiative for the benefit of the villagers, but the church is doing something great in the village.”

Until now, Believers Church has provided pure drinking water to many thousands of people through bore wells and BioSand water filters.
