More than 300 Families Benefit from Community Development Program in Delhi

Believers Church Delhi Diocese organized a Poverty Alleviation Program to distribute gifts to benefit the community on 15th March 2012 at the Minor Seminary Campus in Gurgaon, Delhi. Rt. Rev. Dr. Narayan Sharma, Rev. Fr. Thomas and several other pastors were present for the occasion.

Gifts including sewing machines, rickshaws, auto rickshaws, bicycles and handicap cycles were given to the poor and needy to help them to provide for themselves and contribute positively to the society. Three hundred four families received gifts. These families have been surviving on daily wages and many live in temporary shelters. They expressed gratitude to Believers Church for freely helping them to be able to support their families.
