30 Needy Families Receive Dry Rations Kits

A local parish in Believers Eastern Church Mission Diocese of Sagarmatha reached out to 30 poor and needy families in Satpari District with dry rations on 29 June 2021.

During the distribution program, Mr. Rakesh Shah, ward chairperson, appreciated the initiative of the church saying, “You have done what we could not do. I am very happy to see your noble work and want to thank you so much for helping these needy families.”

At the end of the program, dry rations kits consisting of 30 kg rice, 1 litre oil, 1 kg dal, 1 kg salt and 2 washing soaps were handed over to 30 families that have been going through severe hardship due to the Covid-19 induced lockdown.

Sunita Sada said, “I am so thankful to Believers Eastern Church for helping us with these essential items. I was really going through a tough time due to lack of ration items at home. Thank you for helping us in our time of need”.
