30 Families Receive BioSand Water Filters in Diocese of Dhemaji

Believers Church Diocese of Dhemaji distributed 30 BioSand Water Filters in a remote village on 23rd September 2015.

There is only a single pond in this village, and the villagers take baths and wash their clothes in this pond.They also use the same water for cooking and drinking. So, the church organized this distribution to ensure their health by giving them access to clean water.

“Thank you so much for providing me with a water filter freely,” said Hema Pegu, one beneficiary.

This is just an example of how the church is using its Clean Water Project to improve the health of people living in remote villages.
