30 Families Receive Access to Safe Drinking Water in Diocese of Dhemaji

Believers Church Diocese of Dhemaji helped 30 families through a BioSand Water Filter Distribution program, held on 28th July 2015.

This distribution was held in a remote village. People here depend on streams and ponds for their daily water needs. This water wasn’t safe for drinking. Still they continued drinking it due the lack of other water sources. Knowing their need, the church distributed these filters.

All the recipients thanked the church for helping them to access clean and safe drinking water without paying any cost.

This is just an example of how the church is improving the health of people living in remote villages through its Clean Water Project.
