30 Families Helped With Essential Items in Diocese of Vizag

On 12 June 2021, a local parish in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Vizag took initiative to distribute essential items to needy families in a village in Vizianagaram District.

The priest and members of the parish went door-to-door and distributed the items to 30 families, mostly daily wage laborers, that are going through a hard time due to the ongoing lockdown. Each family received a kit containing 1 kg each of potato, okra, coccinia grandis, tomato, and eggs and a ½ litre oil. The beneficiaries were grateful to the church for the timely help.
