30 Families in Changlang Receive BioSand Water Filters

Believers Church Changlang distributed BioSand Water Filters in a village on 21st October 2014. 30 families including a hostel received filters that day.

Previously, they used the iron-contaminated water they get directly because they don’t have filters of their own. They had a little income which was not sufficient to buy their own water filter. Seeing their need, the Church came forward to help them.

Rev. Fr. Tasi inaugurated the program and distributed the filters to each people.

“Thank you so much for giving us a filter,” said Samson Kangko, a beneficiary. “We will also share this filter to our neighbours so that they can also drink pure water.”

Pure drinking water can improve the quality of life of many people. Believers Church distributes BioSand water filters and installs bore wells in thousands of needy communities to ensure that all have access to clean water.
