30 Families Benefit From New Bore Well in Diocese of Ranchi

Believers Church Diocese of Ranchi inaugurated a new bore well in a remote village on 12th July 2014.

The villagers previously got their water from an open well that produced dirty water unsuitable for drinking or cooking and often caused waterborne diseases. To make things worse, the well would be dry in the summer. Most of the villagers were poor and they couldn’t afford to drill a bore well.

Realizing the need for another water source, Believers Church installed a new bore well in the village. This well now is the main source of water for drinking, cooking, cleaning and other necessary purposes. More than 100 people can now depend on this bore well on a regular basis. The villagers feel blessed and are very happy.

Believers Church is able to provide clean drinking water to thousands of villages through bore wells, water tanks and distribution of BioSand water filters.
