Believers Church Agartala Diocese installed a new bore well in a village on 28th February 2014. More than 30 families now depend on this bore well for their daily water requirement.
The villagers used to bathe in a nearby pond. To collect drinking water they had to walk kilometers. The water scarcity and the unhygienic environment exposed them to all types of diseases. Under these situations, Believers Church took the initiative to install a bore well for the villagers.
The villagers appreciated the work of the church, and expressed their gratitude. Even the people of the Gram Panchyat office now use this bore well for their needs.
Through the clean water project Believers Church has drilled thousands of bore wells and distributed thousands of BioSand water filters.
