30 BioSand Water Filters Distributed in Assam

A Believers Church social worker in Dhemaji Diocese saw that the people of an interior village in the area were very poor and had no proper facility for water. The people usually dug a small pond in the ground and gathered the foul-smelling water for their daily use.

Their lack of safe water motivated the social worker to talk to the Believers Church’s BioSand water filter leader in Assam. They organized a program on 27th April 2012 and distributed 30 BioSand Water Filters to the people of Bhekali Sautalpur.

The villagers appreciated the church for recognizing their need and providing water filters.
