Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu inaugurated 3 water supply facilities in a hilly village in Dolakha District, Nepal on 27 March 2022.
The mountainous village located at an altitude of 886 metres above sea level has been suffering from acute shortage of water over the years due to non-availability of natural water sources nearby.
The diocesan secretary, pastoral board in-charge and church representatives were present at the inauguration program.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajen Upreti, a local dignitary, said, “We are really thankful and happy to see the great work of Believers Eastern Church in our village. We have everything in this village but we had no access to safe drinking water. And Believers Eastern Church has fulfilled this critical need. We are exceedingly grateful to you.”
