Believers Church Diocese of Delhi conducted free medical camps at seven different Bridge of Hope centers between 9th and 17th October 2014. Over 2,900 community members including children received free medical care through these camps.
The purpose of organizing these camps was to give the poor and needy people who are unable to afford any medical treatment a chance to get a checkup and receive the medicines they need. Two doctors along with a nurse conducted the checkups. People with different diseases like viral fever, malaria, anemia, and skin diseases came and received treatments freely.
All of them were thankful towards the church for conducting these camps. “I was unable to give proper medical treatments to my children since the medicines are costly,” said Sumitra, a beneficiary. “Thank you so much for providing us free medical checkups and medicines.”
Through medical camps, Believers Church provides free examinations and medications to prevent and treat diseases in places where there is no doctor.
