280 People Receive Blankets in the Diocese of Mumbai

On 23rd February 2014, Believers Church, Diocese of Mumbai, held a blanket distribution program in a slum. More than 280 people received blankets on that day.

The program took place under a flyover bridge, where the poor and illiterate slum dwellers had no means to beat the cold weather. Most of them used sacks to cover their body.

Mr. Aftaf (All India Human Rights Association Secretary) was the chief guest of the program and distributed blankets. He appreciated the work of the church among the impoverished communities.

Every year Believers Church distributes many thousands of blankets to the needy people, enabling them to protect themselves from the winter cold.
