265 Families Receive Poverty-Alleviating Gifts in the Diocese of Tinsukia
March 25, 2014The Diocese of Tinsukia conducted poverty alleviation programs in different locations between the month of February and March 2014.
In one such program, Bishop B.Sunderraj was the chief guest. Also Dr. Siny Punnoose (Synod Secretariat) attended the program. They distributed 200 bicycles, 50 cycle rickshaws and 15 vegetable carts.
Through poverty alleviation programs, the church helps the poor and needy communities to break the cycle of poverty.
