26 Underprivileged Women Complete Vocational Training in Diocese of Pokhara

To felicitate the underprivileged women who have successfully completed vocational training in tailoring, Believers Church Diocese of Pokhara held graduation ceremonies at two different places on 24th and 27th November 2016, respectively.

Altogether 26 women graduates were felicitated with certificates during the program. Among them, 12 of them come from the worst earthquake affected area where many lost their dear and near ones and became homeless. Even today many are living in tent and make-shift houses.

The graduates expressed their gratitude to the church for giving them the opportunity to undergo such a useful and skill-oriented training and empowering them to stand on their feet. They also said they will start their own tailoring business and support their families financially.
