250 Women Attend One-day Seminar in Diocese of Jaigaon

The Diocesan Women’s Fellowship team in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Jaigaon organized a one-day seminar for women on 5 November 2021.

The Women’s Fellowship members from nearby local churches had gathered for the program. More than 250 women were in attendance.

During the first session, the vicar general of Diocese of Siliguri shared the Word of God and encouraged everyone from the life of Naomi, from the book of Ruth. After the exhortation, he also prayed for all the participants.

The vicar general of Diocese of Jaigaon took the second session in which he focused on how women, especially mothers can use their time and skills to contribute to their respective parishes. Using Scripture references the third speaker spoke about how to grow in the Lord.

The women were excited to participate in the seminar and meet with each other. They felt inspired and blessed to attend the seminar.

Seema Pradhan, one of the attendees said, “After a long gap of several months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was truly refreshing for all of us to come together physically in the presence of God. We all are blessed by the event.”

Sharmila Subba said, ”I am really blessed and encouraged by today’s seminar.”

Arati Mangar said, ”As the Covid situation has improved, we are now praying that God would give us another opportunity to gather like this.”
