250 Students and Staff Rally for AIDS Awareness in Odisha
December 2, 2009Believers Church Minor Seminary Odisha Diocese observed World AIDS Day with a rally of students and staff on 2nd December 2009.
The District Health Samiti (Association) in Jharsuguda helped with the event. P.K. Mishra (Deputy Multi-Media Officer) was also present.
Students and staff marched with AIDS awareness placards, banners and slogans. They covered local streets, Bus Stand Square and Railway Station.
Rev. Fr. Jeba gave a brief speech explaining the danger of AIDS to the public. Students and staff supplemented this with awareness skits at Bus Stand Square.
Believers Church held similar events in many locations across South Asia for World AIDS Day.
