250 People Receive Poverty-Alleviating Gifts from Gorakhpur Diocese

Believers Church Gorakhpur Diocese distributed poverty-alleviating gifts to 250 people on 21st December 2013. Gifts included tricycles, rickshaws, blankets, sewing machines and warm clothes. The special guests of the program were Mr. Ravi Kumar (Join Sub-Divisional Magistrate) and Dr. Surhita Karim (gynecologist).

“To extend a blessed hand towards poor and needy people is amazing work,” said Mr. Ravi Kumar. “Believers Church is doing wonderful things in Gorakhpur to uphold poor and needy and keep them safe…we appreciate for the genuine help.”

This is just one example of Believers Church’s concern for the poor. The church’s many projects work together to bring hope to those in need.
