250 People Benefit from New Bore Well in Chennai Diocese

On 4th January 2014, Believers Church Chennai Diocese inaugurated a new bore well for a village. More than 250 villagers now use this bore well for their daily water needs.

For many years the villagers were facing water scarcity. Water was only provided to them once or twice in a week and they had to wait in long queues to get it. Under these circumstances the pastor serving in this particular village requested the diocese to install a bore well in the village.

The villagers were very happy and they said that, “There is no nearby well and we used to wait for a vehicle to bring water. But now we have water near to our houses and its available all day. We are so thankful to God for that.”

Through its clean water project the church provides pure drinking water to hundreds of communities every year.
