2,495 People Benefit from New Bore Wells in Diocese of Ranchi

The Diocese of Ranchi inaugurated new bore wells in different locations in the month of May 2014. The bore wells were installed in 16 different villages and altogether 2,495 people use these new facilities.

These villages were facing water crises for a long time as the water available was dirty and contaminated. Usage of this dirty water made them the victims of all types of waterborne diseases. To assist the villagers from their struggles for water, the church installed bore wells for the villages.

Now the villagers are very much excited about the bore wells, because they are in great need of water. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude and called the bore wells a “blessing”.

Until today, the church has provided pure drinking water to thousands of impoverished communities.
