24 Women Graduate from Tailor Training Program
July 14, 2018On 14th July 2018, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Pokhara organized a graduation program for tailoring center graduates who had successfully completed their six-month vocational training course in tailoring.
Altogether 24 women were awarded certificates during the 14th graduation ceremony held at the training center.
Upon receiving the certificate, Srijana Karki (37 years old), one of the graduates, expressed her joy saying, “I am so happy that I could complete my six months course. This training has opened a new door of opportunity for me to earn my livelihood. Thank you so much for equipping me with this skill.”
The 15th batch of women is currently undergoing sewing training at this training center.
Vocational training is one of the ways through which Believers Eastern Church empowers underprivileged women with livelihood skills and increased access to economic opportunities.
