The Diocese of Patna installed bore wells in nine different villages between 11th and 18th June 2014. Overall 2,350 people from nine villages get pure drinking water through these new bore wells.
These remote villages were struggling a lot for drinking water for a long time. Most of the villagers were daily wagers and poor, and could hardly afford to have three meals in a day. They couldn’t afford a better water source for themselves because of their poor financial condition. Considering this situation, Believers Church installed the bore wells.
The gift of bore wells was highly appreciated and the villagers found no words to express their gratitude. “We struggled a lot for water,” a villager said “but now all struggles have come to an end. We can have plenty of water from now onward.”
Through the clean water project Believers Church provides clean drinking water in rural and remote villages.
