23 Families Receive Income-Generating Gifts in the Diocese of Bengaluru

The Diocese of Bengaluru distributed income-generating gifts on 26th July 2014. Around 50 people attended the program in which 23 people received gifts.

Mr. Tippeswamy (Gram panchayat President) distributed 8 sewing machines and 15 pairs of goats. He said, “I thank Believers Church for taking an initiative to help the poor, and the church will be a blessing for many poor in the country.”

“We are from poor family, we never get any kind of help from anybody,” a beneficiary said; “we are neglected by the people, but Believers Church has helped us a lot. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Believers Church for providing us this basic necessity; the church loves and cares for us.”

These people are only few among thousands who received income-generating gifts through the church’s poverty alleviation program.
