226 Relief Kits Distributed to Jammu and Kashmir Flood Victims

On 16th September 2014, Believers Church Diocese of Chandigarh distributed ration kits to flood victims in Jammu and Kashmir. They distributed 226 kits containing rice, wheat, oil, pulses and salt to various families that day.

Over a hundred villages in Jammu and Kashmir submerged by water this year due to heavy rainfall. All their houses along with their livelihoods were completely destroyed, leaving many homeless and without anything to eat or drink.

When the church distributed these relief supplies, joy and happiness were visible in the eyes of the recipients because they have been starving for the past few days. They thanked the church for showing compassion to them and meeting their needs.

Believers Church responds to natural disasters by supplying food, supplies and medical attention to affected individuals.
