Believers Church Delhi Diocese’s Bridge of Hope centers each celebrated their Annual Day in November 2012. In total, around 2,000 students and staff and 1,000 community members attended the programs.
Political leaders, government officers, headmasters and social workers honored the occasions as special guests. They appreciated the work of Bridge of Hope among needy children.
Bridge of Hope students performed beautiful cultural dances, action songs and social awareness skits. Community members learned about the merits of education and became aware of various social evils.
180 students who completed Bridge of Hope’s six-month tailoring course received diplomas. Also, 18 children graduated from the holistic development program. The children received certificates, special gifts and an encouragement to pursue further studies.
Bridge of Hope has activities year-round that benefit children, parents and entire communities. Project centers educate locals about social issues, offer skill development classes and give children the ability and education they need to impact society.
