2,000 People Access Clean Water Through New Bore wells in Diocese of Bengaluru

Believers Church Diocese of Bengaluru installed new bore wells in two villages on 20th September 2014. Each day, over 2,000 people use these wells for their daily needs.

These villagers had enough water sources, but the water was saline and also dries up during summer. A tanker supply was provided to them at this time which also will come once in a week. But this too was insufficient for their needs. So, the church installed new bore wells to provide them regular access to clean water.

“We were in a great need for a good source of water, for we were drinking the saline water for a long time,” said one villager. “Thank you so much for providing us this new well.”

Through the clean water project, Believers Church provides safe and pure drinking water to people in rural areas.
