200 People Rally on International Day of Peace in Diocese of Birtamod

Believers Church Diocese of Birtamod held a peace rally and an awareness program on 21st September 2014 to spread the message of International Day of Peace.

Two hundred people took part in the rally and they raised slogans and banners on peace. They marched through the town even though it was raining.

Later, they held an awareness program and Mr. Jeewan Kumar (Municipal Chair Person) was the chief guest. In his speech he said, “We live in a society were peace is lacking in families as well as in individual life. we need to work together to establish peace in our society by loving and caring each other.” He also appreciated the effort the church took to spread awareness on this day.

Believers Church works to promote and protect peace by educating and challenging communities through rallies and awareness programs like this.
