200 People Benefit from Blanket Distribution in Agartala Diocese

On 27th February 2014 Believers Church Agartala Diocese distributed blankets in two locations. Overall, 200 people were gifted with new blankets which will be a great help to them to beat the cold weather. In one place, the village panchayat president and village chairman were the chief guests of the program.

Mrs. Akarani (panchayat president) in her speech said, “We should be proud to have the church leaders who care and show concern for the poor people whom they have never seen. It is only through the love of Christ they are helping the poor and needy.”

Mr. Subhaboshu, a recipient said, “My income cannot afford to buy this blanket and so I am so much thankful to receive this blanket for my family.”

Believers Church has distributed thousands of blankets to people who can’t afford them. The church regularly takes care of the impoverished and downtrodden and works to makes a difference in their life.
