On 22nd January 2014, the Diocese of Odisha, held a poverty alleviation program for needy communities. One hundred eighty-two people benefited from the program. The gifts included blankets, cows, goats, carpentry tools, a spray pump and tin sheets.
Mrs. Sushama Mallick (Sarpanch) was the chief guest of the program. In her inaugural speech she said “Every year Believers Church conducts community development program to help people. I really want to do this type of programs but I am happy that the church is doing it.”
Believers Church distributes poverty alleviating gifts among thousands of poor and needy people to help them to make a steady income.
