18 Sanitation Facilities Inaugurated on World Toilet Day in Diocese of Bilaspur

On 19th November 2017, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Bilaspur inaugurated 18 sanitation facilities for needy families in a village, in commemoration of World Toilet Day.

Having no means to construct a toilet, these families used to go out in the open to attend nature’s call. But, lack of hygiene, insanitary conditions caused by open defecation, resulted in spread of diseases among them, especially small children.

Seeing the need, and to help improve their living and health conditions, the church built the toilets for them.
