175 Families Benefit From Poverty Alleviation Program in Odisha

Believers Church Odisha Diocese held a poverty alleviation program on 8th March 2014. Overall 175 families were benefited from the program with gifts which included sewing machines, tin sheets, bicycles, cows and goats.

A college student named Nikadima, who had to walk 4 kilometers to his college, received a bicycle. With great happiness, he expressed his gratitude towards the church. Similarly many other people received gifts which will be used to help them support their families.

These gifts will make a huge difference in the lives of the recipients. And these are few among thousands that have received income-generating gifts through the church’s poverty alleviation project.
