173 People Receive Income-Generating Gifts in Diocese of Odisha

On 15th September 2014, Believers Church Diocese of Odisha held an income-generating gift distribution program. They distributed 22 cows, 71 goats, two cycle-rickshaws, 26 cycles, 25 tin-sheets, 11 sewing machines, five carpentry tools, five spray machines and some other gifts to poverty-stricken families that day.

Santiram Hembrom (District Sub Collector) was the chief guest and he appreciated the church for taking initiative to help the poor and needy people in our society. Later, he distributed the gifts to all beneficiaries.

300 people attended the program and 173 people received gifts during it. They all were happy for their new source of income and thanked the church for organizing such a program.

Believers Church each year helps hundreds of thousands of people to become self-supporting through the poverty alleviation programs.
