1,680 People Get Pure Drinking Water in the Diocese of Jasidih
April 22, 2014On 22nd April 2014, the Diocese of Jasidih inaugurated 9 bore wells in different locations for the villagers. Around 1,680 people use these bore wells daily for their water needs.
The villagers had to avoid bathing and washing clothes due to severe water scarcity. They drank the contaminated water which was available in their area. Under these circumstances the church took a decision to install bore wells for the villagers.
The clean water project is one among the different projects of the church to uplift the poor and needy of the society.
