150 Patients Receive Food Items Freely on International Women’s Day

A team of Women’s Fellowship members in Believers Church Diocese of Chandigarh reached out to the patients in a local hospital on 8th March 2016, during the celebration of Founder’s Day and International Women’s Day.

Majority of the patients are from financially poor families. For them, it is very difficult even to buy the prescribed medicines. Most of the time, they skip their food to save money for their hospital needs. Realizing their situation, the sisters went and distributed banana and bread among them.

150 people received the food items that day. All of them were very much happy and thanked the sisters for giving it freely.

Believers Church utilizes each opportunity to help the needy and serve the hungry through organizing similar programs like this.
