150 Needy Children Receive Hygiene Supplies in Diocese of Anand

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Anand organized hygiene kit distribution programs at different villages this week to help underprivileged children stay protected from infectious diseases.

The first distribution was held at a remote village in Navsari district on 9 November 2021.

The local parish priest and Hope for Children staff were present at the program. They distributed hygiene supplies such as tooth paste, tooth brush, washing soap, dettol, face powder, hair oil, body lotion and shampoo to a total of 84 children.

In the same way, on 10 November 2021, hygiene kits were distributed to 66 needy children from a village in Valsad district.

On receiving the hygiene supplies, one of the children named Bhavesh Thakre said, “My parents have been struggling to provide us even basic things due to poverty. I really thank Hope for Children for providing me with this hygiene kit. It’s a great help for me and my family”.
