150 Beggars Fed on World Hunger Day in Diocese of Shillong
May 28, 2017On 28th May 2017, Believers Church Diocese of Shillong took to streets to feed the hungry in commemoration of this year’s World Hunger Day.
A women’s team from the diocese, which organized the program, went to the areas surrounding the local railway station and distributed food packets to the beggars on the streets.
Around 150 beggars including small children received the food packets that day.
