137 Sisters Commissioned into the Order of Sisters of Compassion

The commissioning service of the 14th batch of Sisters of Compassion was held at St. Thomas Believers Eastern Church Cathedral on 23 October 2019.

A total of 137 sisters representing various language groups were commissioned into the order of Sisters of Compassion. Mathews Mor Silvanus Episcopa presided over the service and presented the sisters with sarees.

After the completion of their training, the sisters will be placed at different states of the country where they will work among the widows, lepers and the lowest of the low in society.
