130 Women Graduate from Tailoring Course During Independence Day Celebrations

Bridge of Hope Centers in Believers Church Diocese of Bengaluru organized graduations for tailoring students during the Independence Day celebration on 15th August 2014. 130 women graduated from different centers that day.

These women were trained in fashion designing as well as in sari and embroidery works during the six-month long course. Now, they can use their skills to support their family and themselves.

“Paying fees for my studies was really hard for me with my paralyzed father,” said one among the graduate women. “I am so thankful to the church for showing a new way to earn and to meet all needs of my family myself.”

Through the vocational training and adult literacy classes, Believers Church potentially improves not only the quality of a single family but that of an entire community.
