1,200 People Receive Protection from Malaria in Changlang

Believers Church Changlang distributed mosquito nets to 1,200 people in one district on 29th August 2015.

Most of the recipients are daily wage labourers or tea garden workers. Over the past few years, they are struggling because of the spread of malaria in their places. So the church decided to help such people by providing mosquito nets freely.

“I wanted to buy a mosquito net to protect my children’s health. But, my income is always hardly sufficient to meet my family’s basic needs,” said Devando Moran, a recipient. “Thank you so much for providing me with this mosquito net.”

Believers Church sees the need of people living in poverty and provides them with it through its Community Development and Social Welfare programs.
