12 Villages Get Pure Drinking Water in the Diocese of Patna

The Diocese of Patna installed 12 new bore wells in different villages between 9th May and 16th May 2014. Many hundreds of people now use these bore wells for their water needs.

The villages were facing water scarcity for a long time. To fetch drinking water they had to walk kilometers under the hot sun. The poor villagers couldn’t afford a bore well of their own. Under this situation the church took the initiative to install bore wells to provide safe drinking water to the villagers.

By drilling bore wells and distributing BioSand water filters the church has provided pure drinking water to thousands of communities.
