119 Priests Ordained in Believers Eastern Church

Priestly ordinations were held at the Believers Eastern Church Dioceses of Chennai, Imphal and Udaipur on 22 and 23 November 2019. Hundreds of priests, deacons, and lay faithful witnessed the bestowing of the sacrament of Holy Orders upon the new priests.

Samuel Mor Theophilus Episcopa presided over the rites of ordination to the priesthood of 49 priests at St. Thomas Believers Eastern Church on 22 November 2019. Benjamin Mor Gregarious Episcopa was the cocelebrant.

On the same day, 45 priests were ordained to the priesthood in a sacred ceremony held in Diocese of Udaipur. John Mor Irenaeus Episcopa was the main celebrant and homilist. Joshua Mor Barnabas Episcopa and Sacharias Mor Ivaniose Episcopa were the cocelebrants.

Ordination to the priesthood of 25 priests took place at Imphal on 23 November 2019. Justin Mor Thomas Episcopa and Jeremiah Mor Theodosius Episcopa presided over the rite of ordination.
