114 People Receive Income-Generating Gifts in Jorhat Diocese

Believers Church Jorhat Diocese distributed poverty-alleviating gifts to 114 needy community members on 10th December. The items included sewing machines, bicycles, piglets, blankets, tin roofing sheets and handcarts.

Bishop B. Sunderraj shared that this kind of event could take place because of Metropolitan Dr K.P. Yohannan’s compassion towards the poor and needy of our society. Chief guest Sri Arun Pukhan (MLA) expressed his appreciation, saying, “I thank Believers Church’s Bishop B. Sunderraj for helping poor people in my constituency.”
