107 Children Receive Vitamin A Supplements Through Blindness Control Program

Believers Church Diocese of Ranchi organized a blindness control program for children in one Bridge of Hope centre on 12th February 2015.

A nurse from a local hospital came and took an awareness class on the lack of vitamins and its effects and the importance of taking vitamins for a better health. Later, she distributed Vitamin A supplies which are needed for good vision and Albendazole tablets which are needed to prevent a variety of parasitic worm infestations to each child.

107 children came and received the supplies and their parents thanked the church for taking initiative to improve their children’s health through this vitamin tablet distribution program.
