Believers Church Patna Diocese held a retreat for teenage students from 1st to 3rd May 2014. Overall 102 students attended the retreat.
Bishop M. A. Lalachan inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and encouraged the youth saying that, “Love must be sincere. Hate the evil: cling to what is good.”
“Young people are the crucial segment of society,” the bishop continued; “they are the basis for future development. Youth and the nation should support each other most importantly, the youth should be honest and hardworking, and they should stand against all the evil in the society instead of blaming the system.”
Different classes regarding healthcare tips, personality development and communication took place during the retreat.
“I am so happy to be part of this program,” said a student named Nitu, “and I am motivated about the purpose of my future life. I will do the social work in my village and society.”
This kind of retreat is just one of the many ways Believers Church is empowering youth to build a good future for the nation.
