1000 Young People Attend Youth Meeting in Diocese of Amritsar

More than 1000 youth took part in a one-day meeting held in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Amritsar on 14 August 2022.

During the meeting, one of the priests of the church took the opportunity to make the youth aware of the ill-effects of consuming drugs and alcohol. This was the final day of 21 days of prayer for the youth of the nation.

The vicar general of the diocese who was the main speaker for the meeting spoke from Ephesians 6:1 and encouraged the youth to make obedience their priority. Addressing the youth he said, “Obedience will increase the days of your life.”

Two heart-touching skits were presented by youth on the occasion.

Sunil, one of the participants said, “It was really a blessed time for me to be part of this meeting.”

Another attendee by name Abhishek said that he would strive to lead by example in his school and society.
