1,000 Poor Students Receive Mosquito Nets in Diocese of Surguja

On 20th Aug 2016, Believers Church Diocese of Surguja observed World Mosquito Day by holding mosquito net distribution programs in five different schools where bed nets were provided to 1,000 school students hailing from economically disadvantaged families.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Tiwari (District Panchayat Speaker) appreciated Believers Church for its good works and concern for the welfare of the poor and needy. He also advised the school students to use mosquito nets daily to protect themselves from Malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases.

Through the distribution programs, the church could also spread awareness among students about the dangers of diseases spread by mosquitoes.
