100 Physically Challenged People Receive New Tricycles in Diocese of Surguja

Believers Church Diocese of Surguja organized community development programs in three different places and helped 100 physically challenged people between 5th and 8th of March 2016.

Dr. Ajay Tirkey (Mayor) and some other political dignitaries were invited as the chief guests. They appreciated the church for showing compassion to the needy and neglected and for taking initiative to uplift them. Later, they distributed tricycles to each beneficiary.

“I always had to depend on others if I had to move around or go anywhere. And most of the time, I preferred staying back at home, though I wished to go somewhere,” said Dulari Bai, one beneficiary. “Today, I am so happy to receive this tricycle. From now onwards I can go anywhere without anyone’s help.”
