100 People in a Slum Receive Medicated Mosquito Nets in Diocese of Patna

The Diocese of Patna held a gift distribution program in a slum on 28th July, 2014. Ten widows received saris and 100 people received medicated mosquito nets on that day.

Pr. Jason (Minor Seminary) was the chief guest of the program and he distributed the gifts among the beneficiaries. The people in this slum are daily wagers or laborers and were so happy for the great care the church has shown towards them.

Bro. Debasis, a beneficiary, said, “I am grateful to Believers Church for giving me a mosquito net. The church really is doing a great thing for the society.” The principal of the school where the program was being held also appreciated the work of the church among the needy and poor.
