100 Needy Families Receive Household Essentials in Diocese of Amritsar

Believers Church Diocese of Amritsar held a social welfare program on 4th October in honor of Gandhi Jayanti where it distributed household essentials to 100 needy families.

The chief guests present on the occasion were Mr. Kewal Kumar (Ex-health minister, Punjab), Mr. Babblo Masih (Chairman of Minority Commission) and Mr. Balwinder Gill (Vice President, BJP Government of Punjab). They appreciated the church for carrying out various noble works for the benefit of the poor sections of the society.

On the occasion, the diocese distributed one set of kitchen utensils and vessels and a school bag to each family. The recipients, which also included some widows, were happy for the gifts and thanked the church for the act of kindness.
